    Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

The skills-based system and emotional regulation strategies in DBT were found to be almost universally helpful to clients looking to regain control of their thoughts and emotions. Much like CBT, researchers have shown that DBT is also effective for virtually any type of client – ages 7-60+, all genders and sexual orientations, all races and ethnicities, and more.

    Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT has been proven to be effective for many of the most common mental health issues, and the results have been easily replicated with different clients and different therapists time and time again. The combination of clear structure, easy implementation, and effective skills usage outside of the therapy office has made CBT the first choice of many therapists for decades.

Yazmin Rodriguez Reviews

My experience with Yazmin is that she is a patient listener and a reliable teacher of skills, whether DBT or CBT.

I highly recommend this clinic and my current therapist Yazmin. I have learned so much from her in DBT and her insightful examples/explanations have been a great help to my understanding. She is an amazing teacher, listener, and I always look forward to our appointments together. She’s wonderful!

Tammera and Yazmin have both been amazing therapists for me. I’ve been with Tammera for a couple years and Yazmin has been an amazing addition to this clinic. Tammera is incredibly knowledgeable, listens without judgement, and I have learned so much in my sessions with her. I’ve only been with Yazmin for a few months, but she is kind, intelligent, and I leave my sessions with her feeling more at ease about life. I highly recommend both of them and this clinic!

Yazmin is such a great skills therapist! She knows her stuff and helps me apply the skills to my life. I’m loving working with her!

Yazmin is a great skills coaching therapist! She’s honored a request of mine to make our lessons more interactive, else my attention becomes lost to a biological focus deficit. She includes questions that put me in a thoughtful place to consider where I’ve already used skills, or where I could use them as I’m learning. I’m excited to continue CBT skill learning with her going forward!
