Finding the right counselor can sometimes feel like a never-ending struggle. A counselor who approaches psychotherapy as a serious and sacred relationship is rare, let alone one that approaches their work with a dedication to offering the most advanced therapy tools and strategies in the industry. Tammera McClenton brings all of these qualities and more to her therapy practice. She offers not only an insightful perspective; she is also dedicated to assisting you in building the life that you envision. Compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated, she uses her counseling acumen to help direct and assist you in not only learning about more effective coping skills, but also integrating, mastering, and using those skills in moments of adversity.
Tammera helps her clients articulate and realize their vision of the life they wish to live. To achieve that goal, she helps her clients build new coping strategies that lead to improved mood regulation, enhanced ability to tolerate frustration and disappointments, a renewed ability to stay focused and effective even when we are upset, and a self confidence that leads to much more positive outcomes in life. Decision making improves, resilience skills increase, and relationships will deepen as her clients become more emotionally calm and regulated.
Generous with her validation, focus, and presence, Tammera provides a rewarding therapy experience that is soothing, dependable, and reassuring.
