Blanca Rodriguez is a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern with a strong foundation in both mental health and substance use treatment. She brings multiple years of valuable experience across various clinical settings, including hospital psychiatric care, substance abuse treatment facilities, and outpatient counseling centers.
Blanca earned both her Bachelor of Science in Addiction Studies and her Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation Studies from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, graduating with President’s List and Dean’s List honors. Her academic excellence and bilingual capabilities (fluent in both English and Spanish) allow her to serve a diverse clientele with cultural sensitivity and understanding.
With experience working with adolescents, adults, and families, Blanca specializes in treating substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions (such as anxiety and depression), and supporting clients through crisis intervention and behavioral change. Her background in hospital settings has equipped her with advanced skills in risk assessment, de-escalation, and trauma-informed care, ensuring her clients feel safe and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
Blanca employs an integrative, client-centered approach, drawing from cognitive-behavioral techniques, motivational interviewing, and group therapy modalities.
