Clinical Therapist
Yazmin Rodriguez is a dedicated LPC-Associate who brings energy, compassion, and a collaborative spirit to her work with adolescents and adults. Yazmin has gained valuable experience across diverse settings, including private practice, non-profit organizations, and community-based work.
Her background as a youth soccer coach has uniquely equipped her to connect with teens, college students, and young adults, using her own life experience and coaching techniques to help clients build self-esteem, manage emotions, and grow into leadership positions. Yazmin believes in meeting clients where they are — whether through talk therapy, creative expression, or goal-oriented skill-building—and tailors her approach to fit each individual’s or family’s needs.
Yazmin has experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and identity exploration. She is particularly passionate about serving adolescents, young adults, and the Hispanic community, offering culturally sensitive care and support to clients who are looking for a therapist who understands their background. In her internship roles, she has co-led therapeutic groups, conducted intakes, and provided individual and couples counseling.
As a former collegiate athlete and recipient of the NAIA Champion of Character Award, Yazmin brings a strengths-based, team-oriented perspective to therapy. She values building trusting, authentic relationships with her clients and helping them move toward meaningful growth and healing.
